Wow, look what I work up to earlier this week, 20,000+ YouTube followers. ???????????? Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
In the spring of 2021, I made a conscious decision to develop my YouTube channel by sharing simple tips and tutorials including eco printing, wet felting, upcycling, planting trees and growing dye plants. My goal was to share skills and help others move towards more sustainable textile practices. I also wanted to get more competent in creating my own simple videos but would never have suspected the direction in which my business would take.
That autumn, after a rigorous application process, I was accepted onto a pilot program in Ireland called Amplify. The focus was all about about developing online memberships and that kick started my business as you know it now. I launched my Eco Printing in the Dirty Pot eBook in December that year then my first membership launched at the beginning of 2022.
Roll on to 2024 and the launch of the ‘Dirty Pot’ Club. Expect a very exciting announcement over the next week or so, I won’t say any more now but keep your eyes peeled.
