23 May Sycamore leaves for the win!

One of my favourite trees to print with is the acer pseudoplatanus, also known as the sycamore tree. You can use them as young seedling leaves or older leaves and they give marvellous prints whilst using the dirty pot method. They also do not need much time in the pot, 2 to 2 and a half hours should do just fine.
The pattern is the Trailblazer Vest from Twig & Tale and I made mine from eco printed upholstery wool and a plain wool remnant that was a present from a friend. The lining is eco printed silk. Here’s a link to the pattern.
