12 Aug Plums transformed into fresh juice
Thanks to good friend Paul for a box of gorgeous plums and my steam juicer, I’ve delicious fresh juice and about 14 portions of compote in the freezer! Yum.
I’ve got this piece of equipment on the go practically round the clock now as my early apples are ripening by the hour as are blackberries in the hedgerows. My new thrifted chest freezer is almost full already so I may need to look for more cold storage.
