15 Jul Nuno felt scarf
Pictures can bring you right back to a very special moment, can’t they? Years ago while visiting my late mother at her apartment in Shankhill, I couldn’t resist the opportunity of snapping this nuno felt scarf at large in the flower border. The colours compliment the planting perfectly! The vintage silk square belonged to my paternal grandmother and I used an uneven layer of short fibre Kap merino from Wollknoll with a few hand dyed embellishing fibres to create the texture. The longer I felt, eco print and sew the less I wear or use ready to wear clothing or accessories!
