As an experienced eco printer working in the ‘dirty pot’, my usual process involves wrapping fabric with leaves, bark or onion skins to achieve direct contact prints. Did you know however, it’s possible to dye fabric solid colours in a reactive pot and this is a wonderful way to revamp clothing, have fun and save the pennies?
