09 Sep My Aussie cousin couldn’t believe it!
My Aussie cousin has been visiting Clasheen and was totally amazed by how quickly my young eucalypts are growing. The trees behind us were planted in May 2018 as approx 9″ plugs and provide a never ending source of eco printing leaves and bark for the eco printing studio.
One of the other wonderful things about them is the fact that they give a substantive dye, without the need for traditional powdered mordants. It’s great to be able to keep things simple yet still achieve a range of beautiful solid colours to compliment prints.
