Once I arrived home to Ireland, I printed it in the ‘dirty pot’ using Euca. cordata leaves and decided that this was the perfect opportunity to feature it on the yoke of this top. Once I’d cut into the napkin and cut out the front pieces from a scrap of brown linen, I realised that I’d need to be creative and piece together 4 bits of fabric for the peplum at the back. This did cause me quite a bit of faffing around but I’m delighted that I persevered because I know that I’ll get loads of wear out of it now it’s finished. I’ve styled it here with a pair of Bob Pants by Style Arc that I made from a 50% wool, 50% linen fabric woven locally at Emblem Weavers.
