Topping eucalyptus trees, and indeed many garden shrubs is essential for improving access to eco printing vegetation. It helps promote new growth lower down and makes for much easier foliage retrieval!
Here’s a short video sharing how I do this to my Eucalyptus parvula using an extendable pruner, and demonstrates how this makes clean cuts above sideways-growing branches. This encourages optimal growth while minimising damage.
