Great memories from a gorgeous jumper

While I was in Australia one year ago I bought a gorgeous merino jumper (aka sweater) in a Red Cross shop in Sydney. It was printed in the dirty pot during the wonderful Geelong Textile & Fibre Forum using a selection of leaves from my class participants and others that I salvaged from the rubbish bin (trash can)! I knew that I wanted to keep this jumper for myself but the sleeves just weren’t long enough for my arms as it was. Happily, a remnant of hand dyed green wool, complete with little holes was a great find during the forum jumble sale. I’d just enough to use when lengthening the sleeves and for a small but functional dickie, an added bonus as I love keeping my neck warm. Every time that I wear this I have happy memories of my time with my class and the forum.
