17 Jun Garden update
The eco print and natural dye borders, plus the general garden are becoming more colourful by the day. May was the hottest on record here in Ireland but we had so much rain it was difficult to weed.
Finally, the borders leading up to the garden studio have all been completed for the first time but the gravel drive and area to the front of the house is like a jungle right now. Working without herbicides and pesticides I can mentally cope with this for a while; visitors might think though that I don’t care for my property! The increased biodiversity makes it all worthwhile though and the wild grass/flower areas are looking amazing.
