06 Jul Felt vessel challenge!
Calling all felters……. are you a member of the ‘Sculptural Wet Felting Group‘ over on Facebook? They have just announced their third quarter 2022 challenge: make a wet felted 3D item on a 25cm diameter circular resist, ending with a max 2.5cm / 1″ opening after fulling.
If you’re not already a member you need to request to join the group but I think that you will enjoy it! If you’ve never felted a bowl or vessel before why not check out my step by step YouTube tutorial? Just make your opening (to remove the resist) smaller than I did and don’t stretch it as you seal the edges!
