Eco printing idea to consider!

When you are eco printing, do you ever cut your vegetation to create different shapes? Here I used sliced Euca. cordata leaf’s on an achiote (annatto) soaked lambswool wrap, the fabric was woven locally for me by Philip at Cushendale Woolen Mill.

Why not try slicing the next time you are eco printing? Onion skins are also ideal, and you can play around with different shapes and sizes. I still prefer printing with the leaf’s natural shape; however, it is fun to experiment!
